Prior to cleaning it is suggested that
- Manhole covers are cleared of landscaping or lawn ornaments but not removed
- If lock on cover, please provide key
- Water hose is pulled as close to the cover as possible
- Children and pets are supervised
- Paperwork from county can be placed in a ziplock bag and left on top of cover for driver to pick
